Hufpflege / Hoofcare Workshop with Stavros Voutsas

We would like to thank Stavros Voutsas for this very informative and enlightening weekend ! This workshop was ideal for vets and farriers but mostly for owners who need to learn how to trim theis horses' hooves on their own. Equipped with scientific data and with surprising simplicity.Stavros introduced us, both in theory and in practice, to the principles of natural hoof care. He explained the hoof's structure, the importance of proper functioning of the complex hoof mechanism and its basic pathology.We also learned from the basics, like how to identify lameness, to more advanced subjects, like prognosing and rehabilitating equine laminitis.
